Question about the iPad?

My friend says that it is not a computer.
Will someone please tell me if that's true?
I thought it was a touch tablet computer.
I consider the iPhone a computer as well.Question about the iPad?
Its not a computer, and nor is the iphone.Its a tablet, running a slightly modified phone OS. It is too weak to be really considered any sort of a PC replacement. Its a novelty item until apple fixes the glaring flaws.Question about the iPad?
It's not a computer
It's a really really really big iPod Touch with some extras
from what I read, it's a giant iPod touch. Certainly not a laptop replacer, which is what I would call a true tablet computer.

The ipad isn't a computer. Like the people have said before me, it's just a larger ipod touch. Now something to look at is the Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid with Windows 7 OS. The touch screen is a little choppy right now, but I don't know if it's a finished product yet.
It still looks awesome even though I dont know how I can transport it :P
