I've had an iPod Touch since the week it came out, and I think it's overrated, but it's still good.The only good games for it are DS ports.
What do you think of the iTouch?
At first I thought is was the greatest thing!! That was until after having it for about 4 months the home button stopped working!! Since then I''ve been busy and never got around to getting it fixed (Apple store is about an hour away). And now I pretty much forgot about it, and really don't care for it anymore, at least enough to drive really far and pay $50.
I don't have a touch, but I love my iPhone.
got one for christmas i love it. i love it especially becuz the rest of my family, except my dad who has an itouch, has different ipods, and i am so thankful i get the itouch cuz its SO much better than the other ipods.and internet access to itunes and appstore is awsome. but i really wished they put 3G into it. that would make it perfect.

If you call apple and its less than a year old. they will pay for shipping and fix or replace it at no charge. My accelerometer didnt work and I had a new one in less than a weak.
I had one and it was the worst purchase I ever made. The battery life is brutal, the forced use of iTunes was unwanted, the touch screen was unresponsive, the capacity was tiny and the price was through the roof. I paid $400 for a 16Gb one and would get at best 8 hours out of the battery. I returned it and bought an 80Gb Zune for only $200 and can get around 40 hours out of the battery. The iPod Touch is a brutal device and I have no idea why anyone would want one. I do like the iPhone though, but again my Blackberry Bold is a much better and more economic device.
I love my itouch, best piece tech I've bought to date.

The Zune was made to compete with the iPod Classic. Of course it has more memory, it has a hard drive.I have had my 16gig iPod Touch since day one. No faults, no regrets.

I am not just talking about capacity. The Zune software is better than iTunes, the sound quality is much better, and scrolling through music is much easier. The iPod Touch is a brutal music player and media center. I was once a Zune doubter like yourself, but in reality it is a much better product than any of the iPod line.
While I dont think zune 80gb is to be compared with an ipod touch (the zune hd should be) it falls into the same issues as the touch. The touch forces you to use itunes (which many people love, and would use it anyway regardless if there ipod needs it) the zune forces you to use microsoft software.If the zune worked as a mass storage device I'd give you that point but it doesn't. It's also plastic, plastic screen. As far as sound quality goes the zune comes with better stock earphones but that doesnt reflect the devices actual quality.The zune 80gb has no EQ while the touch does.each to there own.as a gadget the touch is a wonderful piece of tech.
Sound quality is mainly dependent on two factors;
Quality of Music files
Quality of headphones
As long as you don't compress your music (by using FLAC or Apple Lossless formats etc) and if you have a decent pair of headphones, you aren't going to notice any difference in sound quality, if indeed there is one.
Really, the choice between an iPod or a Zune is really up to the consumer. Me, being an Apple guy, I prefer the iPod Touch and you prefer your Zune.
I have a refurb iTouch, and I love it.
I've had the Touch for a while and I absolutely love it.
