IPod Touch or IPhone?

Wow, a new fourm!!! I just had to post in it because it's so new:PBut,is'nt the ipod touch basicly the iphone without the phone?So I guess the iphone would be better because of some of the apps that require the micI also know someone who has an app on his iphone that can make it so that you can have any phone number show up on someone's caller id when it's really him, that would really come in handy sometimes!IPod Touch or IPhone?
i got the ipod touch 3rd gen 32gb and its good enough for me..it comes with the mic and i can use skype to call anyone. if im not in range of a wifi, i use my cheapo $50 handphone...so ill say the ipod touch is better and in a way cheaper.
There's not much to compare, they're basically the same thing, except the iPhone has a phone, which benefits from extra capabilities, therefore, it is better. If only I could afford $70/month :(-Betta

iphone if u can afford the plan but if u don't care bout Internet access everywhere, ipod touch
An iPhone basically has an iPod Touch built into it.
Personally I could have bought an IPhone, but the data plan required is rather expensive. so I settled for a 3rd gen Touch and absolutely love it.
The new iPhones would be the most feature packed of the two, naturally. But the price is steep. For most games, there's no advantage to the phone over the touch.

Not really. Just a camera which quality is not that great. Celluar connection, but lets be honest, is no Wi-Fi. And a mic? The new iPod Touch 3G's have mics now (not built-in however) and you know, no expensive contracts.
If you want it just for gaming then get a ipod touch. If you can afford the $90 and you dont like your current phone service get the iphone.
well if your focusing on gaming then just get the ipod
You only need an 8gb touch, unless you have 40,000 songs you're just dying to listen to
If you are focusing on gaming, then you should save your money and buy a PSP or DS.



For me, I would choose the Touch. While you can get the iPhone for under $100 with a plan, the plan will end up costing you more money in the long run. My cheap phone with cheap plan in addition to a Touch gives me pretty much the same features as an iPhone without the hefty costs.
Wish they would hurry up and add a camera to the iTouch (they will eventually) .
I don't need another phone so I prefer the ipod Touch; still waiting for it to get a camera before I upgrade to the newest model.
In summary.Well basicly there is no difference. other than the cost. :( Well that didn't start this thread(or whatever its called.) for much of purpose other then being the first one. lol.Alrite.The Endisn't that right Lelouch.
the IPOD TOUCH IS WAY COOLERTHEN THE IPHONE.:)
