Please Help, called apple and They weren ...

So, I bought a new ipod to replace my old one and tried to transfer the songs from my itunes to the new ipod, problem is only some of the songs transfered over. Its weird also, because on itunes I can see that the songs are on the ipod, but when I try to find them on my ipod it doesnt show up (Under artist album, etc) ANy suggestions? Also, my ipod and itunes are up to date and I have already done that authorization stuff for both. ThanksPlease Help, called apple and They weren ...
Is your ipod big enough to hold all the songs? I'm assuming they worked on your last ipod? Also, try backing up the songs then deleting and re-importing them so they can be reformatted. Please Help, called apple and They weren ...
It might mean those items are set as a compilation. Find the album in iTunes, get the info and I don't remember what tab it's under, but there's a checkbox for ''part of a compliation''
If that doesn't work, try this. (My brother had this glitch). The songs that aren't appearing may have some corrupt metadata (the album artist, track number, etc). So, what you want to do, is go find the songs that aren't appearing (use Windows Explorer, not iTunes), right click, ''Properties'' and ''Advanced''. See if their metadata is missing, or if the File Name/Song title is exactly the same as another file. My brother's iTunes had some duplicate LIVE songs from an album, as well as the Studio tracks, so, give it a try?
