ask yourself how it would play? With touch support? Then how would you use your vast array of skills and addons on such a small screen. It would never pan out :( Hope im not bursting your bubble.
It would be OK with a keyboard peripheral.....that's bigger than the unit itself.
There's a Watchmen MMO if you want, or you can always try iMobsters, iNinjas, World War ect.I personally haven't heard rave things about the Watchmen game though.
As much as I think Blizzard would love to have people play WoW anywhere/anytime, the technical abilities of the iPhone would probably prevent that from happening. However, it's worth pointing out that there's a cool little app that lets you check out your character and equipment, but that's about it.

This video popped up last year and looked genuine enough to get people excited... but in the last 8 months there hasn't been anything to suggest that it's ever coming out.So, yeah, the rumour won't die until Blizzard rules it out, but I wouldn't get too excited anymore.*Edit* A quick look into the company that put out the youtube demo seems to show they have gone under. Their website is gone and apparently their California phone numbers have been disconnected. So that's that.
